To know that you do not know is the best.To pretend to know when you do not know is a disease.
-Laozi
What I say about this quote: So many people do not understand that admitting when one does not know is admirable. It does not make you stupid or submissive. People who admit their strengths and their weaknesses are easily measured and trusted. They do not present us conflabulations of reality so that we think they are different than who they really are. If we all pretended to know what we do not, we would never know anyone for who they truly are. Coincidentally there are too many people on this Earth that we don’t really know. Live by this and you’ll be golden.

I will meet him someday.
Why talk of spirits when you do not understand men?
Confucius (551-479 BCE)
Keep spiritual beings at a distance. We need to learn how to live on this earth as human beings. We will have plenty of time for them when we die.
Sarasvati…the new source of my inspiration. She will block my creative inertia for as long as I live.

When we see men of a contrary character, we should turn inwards and examine ourselves.
This is why we are careful in choosing our friends. This is also why we do not become jealous of others who are better at certain things than us. And this is also why we do not reject others whom are different than us…even those whom anger us. Those whom are better than us, we must look up to them and strive to be that great. Everyone is different, but we are all the same. We are humanity. We are tied together by a common thread. This thread is goodness.
Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC)
“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.”-Confucius
Good Morning
After the elipses in this quote is the most essential part…which should not have been left out. It saddens me that this quote was misused. After the elipses is to be “and to help other people reach there full potential.” The whole concept of Confucianism is to further oneself towards enlightenment and happiness while furthering others at the same time. We live to help ourselves and others too. This is how we truly become fulfilled.
My two spirit guides, Parvati and Ganesh. I was acquainted with Parvati first, and I later met Ganesh. I am so thankful to have them for protection and guidance.
Son of Shakti
Ganesha is often compared to Shiva—he is nicknamed “Son of Shiva” and he is best known for being Shiva’s messenger and also the general of Shiva’s armies.
However, it is too often overlooked that his mother—and his creator—was Mother Parvati, The Goddess.
As you may know Ganesha was molded by clay and brought to life by the breath of the Goddess—this was done while Shiva was away on meditation.Through Ganesha—one can find the fierce-warrior presence of Shiva but also, the warm and compassionate presence of The Goddess.
Jai Ma! Jai Ganesha! Jai Mahadeva!
Finishing touches.
“Everything is Clear in the Dark”, graphite on paper, 50” x 38”
This drawing is truly impressive. As a visual artist myself, I know a picture of this size would be painstaking in graphite and take an eternity. I love how she has her own hand in her work…the artist as part of her artwork. This is also represents the beauty of aging. One can still see the youth shining through her eyes in this vibrant graphite.
